Laughter in the Summer Rain – Another Mt. Tam Hike

June 28, 2013 – Cataract Trail, Mt. Tamalpais State Park

Don’t worry about me, fellow hikers, I’m not really hearing laughter in the rain so I haven’t completely lost my mind. Passersby might disagree, however, if they happen by while I’m wallowing in the mud trying to get that perfect composition of a wildflower, or low lying wisp of dead bunch grass. Today I share a small gallery of images taken at the tail end of the recent rains that visited the Bay Area. This is a rarity here, so it was fun to get out and enjoy the robust flow of water along Cataract Creek, especially the area between Laurel Dell and Alpine Lake. I’m sure with the heat wave now upon us, the flow of water will quickly subside, so get out there soon. Happy Trails!
